Bank of America awards Partnership $200,000 grant

The Partnership is pleased to announce a $200,000 commitment from Bank of America.  The grant will provide $100,000 to workforce development initiative Opportunity Chicago and $100,000 toward The Partnership’s general operations.

“The Partnership’s work gets to the core of Bank of America’s commitment to building strong, healthy neighborhoods throughout Chicago,” said Tim Maloney, Bank of America’s Illinois President.   “This organization is bringing together leaders from multiple sectors to address workforce and economic development issues in a comprehensive way.”

With this gift, Bank of America’s collective contributions to The Partnership total $1.75 million since 2004.

“Bank of America has been a tremendous partner to us and to the Chicago Housing Authority,” said Maria Hibbs, Executive Director of The Partnership. “Their collaboration is a great example of the corporate leadership and support that is playing an important role in the success of public-housing transformation in Chicago.”
