Heartland Human Care Services

This grant supports Heartland Human Care Services’ transitional jobs program to provide public-housing residents with training and work experience in the energy efficiency field. 35 public-housing residents will complete a 12-week program that includes subsidized employment in the energy efficiency field and up to 12 hours per week of paid literacy class participation. Participants also will receive information on green job and training opportunities.
